Bob Watt, Director

Bob Watt, is director of Partners in Training (PinT) in York where he heads up the Management Training & Consultancy division. His hands-on approach means he retains product development and marketing responsibilities at PinT as well as delivering courses and consultancy.

Bob works internationally and has run courses for clients in all four corners of the world - from Greenland and China to Brazil and Singapore. His specialist area is Leadership Course and Programme design and delivery.

Barry Stainthorp, Chairman

Barry, too, has delivered training or consultancy services all over Europe, in the Far East, Middle East, Africa and America. Barry’s recent work in both the Training and Consultancy divisions has focused on developing Sales Managers and their teams.

He loves interactive training and is especially sought after for his work on Communication, whether creating corporate literature, dealing with the media in live or pre-recorded situations, creating and delivering high quality presentations, or handling face-to-face interactions.

Regent Turp, Training Consultant

Regent has delivered a wide variety of PinT management skills courses since 1987. As key account manager, he is responsible for all aspects of our New Manager programme. This task alone has taken him to Europe, India and the USA in the last year.

Regent has broad experience of the Arab world and between 1987-96, developed and organised training programmes for military personnel from the Gulf States at our Training Centre in York. These included courses in Leadership and Core Skills like decision-making and effective communication. From 1996 to 2002, he also managed the centre, responsible for a team of up to 25 members of staff. This has led to his interest in building successful teams and motivation in the workplace.
